Roundtable focused on Fundación ONCE’s A TECH certification as a benchmark in technological accessibility for ICT-based devices. Since 2021, more than 100 products —including mobile phones, computers, televisions and household appliances— have been certified under this label, with additional devices evaluated in 2025. The session will explore the technical assessment model developed by Fundación ONCE’s Technological Accessibility Department, as well as the certification process and its impact on manufacturers and end users. It will also present A TECH’s internationalization strategy, which includes the development of a digital kit to help companies integrate the certification into their products, video tutorials for people with disabilities, a new multilingual website, and targeted positioning at major technology events and online campaigns. The discussion will highlight how accessibility can become a competitive standard and drive more inclusive technology on a global scale.
